X-Mag, will not shoot in manual mode

Just got an X-Mag, and can not get it to shoot in manual mode with the battey switched off!! the mode switch is pointing forward, trigger pulls further but nothing! Any ideas?

Hey Julian, was thinking about this just now and I reckon the mechanical link between the trigger and sear isn't engaging.... when I used your gun today I couldnt't discern any difference between electronic mode and hybrid mode (where the gun fires electronically but the trigger is supposed to kick back like an RT trigger)

Might be worth taking the grip off and checking that the selector switch is operating the little cam-thingy that engages/disengages the mechanical trigger (check the CD manual as I think there's a picture of the part). Perhaps Sosta assembled it wrong

Well.....

for a first off easy solution... do you have a TL63 Trigger ? if so, the gun wont fire in Manual mode. it was cut to much at the top/back of the trigger to hit the pin enough to fire.

If you just have a regular double trigger, or regular blade, then it might be the rod not being set far enough out for the trigger to hit it.

Be more descriptive if you can.. and we can help you further. Manual mode is one of the more easier things to fix than Emode - less things to go wrong in order to fire.

PsychoBaller, not sure, and not sure how to check, it is a stock X-Mag, IE new out of the box, set-up up by AGD Europe, I have changed nothing, the intresting thing also is I can not remove the rear unit, so the pin must be sticking out and as the manual mode does not work I can not pull the trigger to push it in I am going to remove the grip tonight and stock to see if I can push the pin and get the unit out, from there I will examine the manual system, to see what is not touching what.

Any other ideas welcome.

You can press the trigger pin in further with a plastic pen cap while degassed.
