When I shoot the output needle will drop. I set the output to 800 and I shoot the needle will drop down a few psi. Is this normal? I ask because I have shootdown problems on my classic valve.

How far does it drop? It should only drop down a couple hundred psi and then bounce back VERY quickly. If it slowly creeps back, you need to clean your Flatline and probably replace the reg. seat and oil the piston. Check the Gun/Air System Maintenance thread at the top of this forum for info on servicing your Flatline.
