AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Hmmm, that is odd. With all those new E-grips out there for Spyder and Spyder clones, even the E-blade for the Cocker uses that electric sear-tripper style noid.
But spyder e-grips for for 100-150 bucks. I wonder if a company will finally jump on this and make one of these for the Mag, so people won't be forced to go either E-mag for Hyper for 250-300.

well boo-yah tried to make one.
I had one and it sucked. Just got a hyper so we will see how good it is.
It's not outside the realms of possibility to make your own. Get a secondhand trigger frame, you can purchase a decent solenoid over the counter for peanuts, add a battery, microswitch arrangement and a simple latch/timer circuit and you're almost there. Only basic electronics and mechanical skills would be required for a semi auto frame that would avoid all short stroking problems.
I was considering this myself but ended up with a good deal on a Hyperframe (still to arrive).
