    problem with mag

i just played a 3 man tourny sunday and had to use a friends stock valve off his backup mag because mine was acting up. whenever i gas up the mag air leaks like crazy out the barrel, when i pull the trigger it stops. what could be the problem and how can i fix this? and help would be apreciated, thank you.

if it stops when you pull the trigger then your on/off is working fine. it will be the powertube tip oring or the powertube o-ring. check them both and I bet one will be worn or nicked.

I take it from your signature that you have a level 10 bolt. Leaks down the power tube usually indicate a worn/broken in carrier o-ring or too many shims. It may even be a dirty carrier o-ring. Take the power tube assembly apart and clean it and make the necessary adjustments. Check the tightness of the carrier o-ring on the bolt stem. Use plenty of lube when you replace the parts.

actually i forgot to mention i havent installed the level 10 yet and i think i'm going to sell it to a team mate since i'm getting a warp feed and i dont shoot that fast. i'll get one when i get the x valve.

In that case, it just needs a shorter power tube spacer.

ok, i think i figured it out. i took my mag apart and i think i lost a power tube part(stock part). i have the tip and the bronze looking thing in there underneath the tip. i know something else whent in there but what? thanks.

Power tube O-ring. Goes underneath the brass spacer.

I'd say hang onto that lvl 10 kit. It'll help shoot brittle paint even if you're using a warp. Breach breaks while using a warp feed is *not* fun.
