Can sluggos be milled on a lathe? If so can it just be any normal lathe? What are some tools you could do a fairly plain job on, belt sander? lol just thinking...

on a lathe, you can do simple cuts on it. you can probably use 3jaw with live center or possibly even dead center and liver center to hold it on. Aluminum machines real easy. Combined with good mill file, you can make it look fairly nice. You can do more with vertical milling machine. Flat sides/tops/grooves. To do the fancy CNC cut, you need 4 axis cnc mill. -
Think im gonna have to do that, ill come up with some plans and see if you think they are doable or will work!JaymzComment
