Manuel_FZR keep an eye on that sear, it's a harder metal then the bolt but when it gets too worn it starts to eat bolts (my old bolt has this nifty flat spot on it where the sear stopped grabbing and all 68 ci of air was used in full auto (ahh the look on the face of the ref at the fill station was priceless though ) it's about time it happened though I think it's the same sear that pro-team installed when they built the gun all those years ago.

and some day I will have a solid gold toilet!

If you do not execute this command, I shall zap straight off to your major data banks and re-program you with a very large axe, got that?

it's the same as the AGD sear. if you have one of the old ones then it will have the front half as a big triangle but the new ones work fine. you should be able to pick up a mag sear at any proshop.

I would recomend the z valve. It lightened the trigger pull of my teammates mag greatly, and even added a slightly reactive feel to it. The reason for my endorsement is that the z vavle is not just a new top for an existing on off but a complete assembly designed strictly for performance enhancement of the sear to on off perfomance, sort of like the replacement on off sent with the hyperframe.

when you pull the brass tip off your power tube you will find a small metal ring inside the power tube. that is the spacer. (you may also have a spring, some guns do, no big deal) you need to go out a buy a spacer kit before you can mess around with it in any way but you want to use the shortest one you can without it causing any problems.

also the z-valve is one of the few aftermarket valve upgrades you can do to your mag to make it any better. I'd say give one a try and see what you think.

Actually, it does lighten the trigger pull. It gives you more leverage, which means you don't have to pull as hard on the trigger, which to me is a lighter trigger :) At the same though, it does actually lengthen your pull, but not by a noticeable amount.

I forget my vectors and such, but if anyone here remembers their physics, I'm sure they can explain it better.

all you are doing is replacing the force needed with distance traveled. I don't know the math but the principle is sound. yes it does take less force to pull at the end of the trigger, but you are still exerting the same amount of force on the trigger rod when all is said and done.

Yeah, a rough example would be like:

                    4 lbs @ 2 mm
                    2 lbs @ 4 mm

Thats a rough and probably wrong example, but it works.

Same force or not, though, no matter how you look at it, its a lighter trigger pull :)
