What is the reg seat? I am having shootdown problems and think i need a new one.

On a classic mag valve, remove the valve from the body, unscrew the rear half of the valve (the regulator) and you'll see a round semi transparent disc sitting in a recess on the face of the regulator. That's the seat. You get a couple of new ones in the spares kit. If I remember correctly it goes in wider-end-first.
On a retro/RT/X valve it's a bit different... I've only just got mine so I won't advise you just in case I get it wrong
