Help with new Minimag

I just got my minimag, set it up, and I guess my CO2 didnt have enough pressure or my balls were too old and some got lodged in my barrel and the final one chopped. (loveley way to start out with a new gun)

Now I am watching the video and reading the manual, yet I cannot figure out how to take off the valve body to clean the tip of it and right in front of the inside of the body.

I pull trigger (which doesnt pull much at all) i then pull on the valve, i try twisting 1/4 inch and i still can't get anything to happen except me being scared I am going to break something. Could you give me some detailed instructions please?

2 more things, is it ok that the word Minimag on the valve isnt completely straight, and also was there supposed to be a nut or something to scsrew on the end of the valve?

Make sure the gun is fully degassed (firing the marker till it stops isn't enough). Undo the field strip screw below the body rail, behind the grip. Then pull the trigger, the valve should pop back half an inch or so. Rotate the valve clockwise slightly in the body (there is a pin in the valve that sits in a locating groove in the rail) and it should slide backwards out of the gun.

In answer to the second question, the back half of the valve is the regulator and it unscrews from the rest of the valve, but the pin that sits in the groove that I mentioned is on the regulator, so when it's in the gun it will only unscrew a few degrees. It being slightly out of alingment won't affect preformance.

The nut on the back of the valve is the velocity adjuster.

If the valve won't come out at all, undo the small allen bolt in front of the trigger, this removes the body from the rail and you can then slide the valve out of the body.

Ok about degassing it, i normally just take off the tank while firing.... dont know much about paintball guns really, but now when i pull on the valved while holding the trigger i hear a little air, my tank is now out, so how do i get the air out of the valve to make it come off?

btw, you said i hit the trigger and it should "pop" out?.... do i not pull or what...

Yeah mine normally pops out, though you may need to wiggle yours a bit.

It sounds like you have some sort of one way valve somewhere- if you can hear air escaping then it's not totally degassed, which will make removing the valve difficuly.

If you have a macro line/pushfit hose or quick disconnect on the air line to the valve, disconnect it before removing the valve. If not, try twisting the valve so you can hear air leaking, then hold it there till the leaking stops, then wiggle the valve around until you can't get it to leak any more... that might be the only way of completely degassing it.

like i said i am new to markers, what is a macro line/pushfit? there is a hose and some aother parts connecting from the valves to where the C02 would connect is that it?

lol, well i got it too come off, easily, just needed to push this little hose... anyway i did it... then a couple parts fell out so now i have to rewind AGAIN

Sorry mate, getting ahead of myself. Macro line or pushfit hosing is fairly thing plastic hose that goes into a metal fitting, with a little collar that clamps the hose in the fitting.

Difficult to describe without showing you.....

If there's no obvious fitting for disconnecting the air hoses, chances are you don't have one, although it definitely sounds like you have some sort of one way valve if it doesn't degass when you remove the tank.
