Banjo bolt won't come out... stripped? :(

I went to clean my RT after a tourny yesterday and the banjo bolt will not come out. It comes out a couple of mm's then starts to get hard to turn, then it'll make a snapping sound and go back to being easy to turn.

So I'm guessing it's stripped. Any idea how this could have happened?

More importantly, how do I fix it?

Any help would be VERY much appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure if you banjo is stripped or not, but stainless does gaul easily and its possible you could have stripped it out. salvage wise, try to crank it back in spray it with some penetrating oil, let it sit and, see if it comes out. Repair wise if it is stripped, probably have to send the back to AGD to see if it can be saved/repaired, I dont think you can use a helicoil it there. In the future you might want to put a little anti-seize in there (avail. at any auto parts store).

With a little help from Mr. hammer I got the bolt out. Turns out that one of the orings was pinched in the threads, I literaly had to pount the bolt out.

Does AGD still sell part kits for Orig RT's?

Yup, RT kits cover all RT/Retro/Emag/X valves, including the banjo O rings...
