    Micromag valve in regular body

I just installed a micromag valve in a regualar power feed body. It leaks down the barrel. The valve works great in my micromag but I checked the power tube oring just to be safe, all is fine there. If I press the valve into the back of the marker, the leak stops. It looks like the valve is not sitting as far forward in the body as it did in my micromag. Do you think a power tube spacer kit would fix the problem? I just wanted some input before I spend the money on the spacer kit.

    Thanks

It might, the on/off pins are different lengths in the micro valves. Try a standard size on/off pin if the spacer kit doesn't work.

the on/off has nothing to do with it leaking down the barrel. if you pull the trigger does the leak stop?

more than likely you are on the right path. I bet the spacers need to be adjusted for the standard mag body.

Yes the leak stops if I hold the trigger back. Thanks for the help. I will get a spacer kit and try that.

Yes. Use a shorter powertube spacer. That should work.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
