Level10 Works too well......?

My level 10 is set up really well. I think maybe too well. I use the longest spring, with a shim or two maybe(I cant remember) and my velocity is my problem. it is generally too high... I try to bring it down, and it(the gun) avoids the 270-290fps area.... Usually around 260fps, then jumps to 300's all the way up to 330fps(with no chops mind you!! hee hee) What can I do? oh, and my carrier o-ring barely started to leak/be broken in after nearly 3 cases of paint, weird, my other level 10's would break in when I was in the process of initially installing and adjusting it.

Try using the middle spring.

Also, make sure the power pistion oring (the one in the carrier) is well oiled.

Sounds like you need to clean and lube the regulator, reg pin and spring pack, and fit a new reg seat/oring. Velocity jumps that large are usually down to the reg.
