OK did some more fiddling, tighest carrier (no dots/lines) the gold colored main spring, no shims. Gas up, leaks out the back, pull the trigger, HEAVY venting out the front. Sometimes it resets itself sometimes I gotta use the ol' finger. When I push the bolt back in and it resets it leaks out the back, again heavily. Hmmm? All Black Automag

ok, first off what are the 'side holes' you have air leaking from?
Second, It is VERY possible that you accidentally got a reg piston that vents off too soon. like others have said, CALL AGD and tell them that the regulator piston in your BRAND NEW X-valve is venting off before the gun fires even with the shortest spring. They WILL take care of you. You WILL NOT have to pay for a new reg. piston.
My advice is to get that taken care of FIRST, then we can work on the rest of the level 10 setup. Its difficult to get everything else working right when you can't keep all your air from leaking out the back.
So, get the reg piston replaced, then get back to us.
