Is there any reason that you can't shorten the length of the feed tube?

i dont see y not, i cut about 1/4 of an inch of off my powerfeed to lower the profile of my hopper and to make it into a warpfeed body style. i havent had any trouble with it. the thing to do is to be really careful on the cut you make, and than take 100 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper and sand off the rough edges, making them smoother, and clean. ne other questions ask..
