    Lapco barrel ??

I currently use a 14" sp. progressive barrel and it is very acurate and doesn't break paint. It is heavily ported though and not very gas efficient.I have been looking at a 14" lapco aluminum, but I was wondering if the performance would be a big enough differance to justify buying one.I have been told the efficiancey is helpful on the mag(which is always needed)and the lack of porting provides slightly better trajectory at longer distances.

I am currently using the Lapco BigShot, and it is just as acurate as my SP progressive. The Lapco is louder because it doesent have the porting but not to bad. I was also getting about 420shots with my SP on a 45/3k flatline and jumped to around 480 with the Lapco. With a good paint/barrel match the range is the same. If you check E-Bay they sell new for like $30+ shipping. I plan to buy a second for my spare gun.
