It'd be the spring or sear right? If the sear doesn't catch it, it wont stay (I think). But since its shooting I'd bet the sear works so maybe your spring is messed up.

Sound like a bolt stick problem. If you have a spacer kit replace the spacer with a larger one.

Well the spring was so messed up. It was all tore up. But can I try cutting the spring and making it smaller? Because the spring I have now is pretty long.

If the spring is shorter that the bolt, replace it. The spring should just be longer than the bolt. I wouldn't cut the spring.

Well what could be another problem with it then? Because I am considering just buying the level 10 bolt because I cant get the damn thing to work.

You might want to try replacing the powertube oring. That's one of the oring that gets alot of abuse. If your having trouble removing the PT top, put a quarter in a vise and hold the valve with both hands and turn it. Also make sure that your not tightening the field strip screw to tight. It can also cause problems.

If you have already replaced the bolt spring with a new one, then the next step would be to put a longer powertube spacer in.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

have you checked the o-rings in the valve? like the people before me said, a bad PT tip ring will do that, and i had a problem with a bad on/off ring that did something like that too...

I have this prob with my mini sometimes

My mini i bought used and the guy that had it before me didnt wanna buy a spacer kit so he had two powertube orings in the powertube instead of one. This works fine but my bolt will stick if you dont lube the powertube orings majorly. So in other words get some lube and try lubing your powertube oring should dothe trick.
Yah uh huh thats a hit!
