    Different kinds of pro-connects?

    hi,

    are there different kinds of pro-connects on the market? if so what the difference between them?

    there is only one pro connect, and that is without a doubt the best kind. all the others are types of quick disconnects and slide-checks, and they tend to leak.

      No...there are at least 3 different versions of the "Proconnect" that I know of...
      1-There is the REAL Proconnect made by Proline.
      2-There is the standard version of the fitting from the manufacturer.
      3-There is the "Proconnect III, which is another aftermarket attempt to duplicate the Proline. They all work, but there are differences in the rating, if that matters at all. I believe its all good...

        thanks!! i thought there was a major difference cause i have seen 2 different kinds. physically they were different, but i guess they all work the same.

            Pro-Connect

            it is the Staubli quick release AKA a Pro-Connect. Staubli makes them and I believe that they have made every generation of Pro-Connects out there. I have only seen two different bodies - the one pictured and one that is shorter and slightly wider.
