emag-flatline-hose questions

I use macroline on my mag to hook up the flatline to the valve. The problen is I have to unscrew the front of the reg on the flatline to degass the air in the macroline to fully dissamble the gun. There has to be a better way to degass the gun withoug screwing with my flatline.

I did a search and found that pro-connects limit the airflow needed for my emag and slide checks are bulky and will eventually leak.

Would it be ok to use this config:
valve->90*->male qd->female qd->ss hose->female qd->male qd->90*->flatline ?

Any other suggestion would be helpful.

sure you can use that...but you will still have the same problem of not being able to de-gass the marker. You wont be able to pull the QD with it pressurized. Proconnect is what you need...

either a pro-connect or this will work too. the gas doesn't go thru the slide-check, so you dont have to worry about shootdown.

I run my L10 Emag with just one QD. I usually turn off the flatline, shoot out as much air as will cycle, then just pull the QD apart. I do get a short blast of remaining air, but its just a known byproduct of L10 installation. Probably not the best for the QD, but they are cheap.

The Deal

The deal is you NEED a pro-connect or a slide check to stop the air flow and bleed the line, so unless you just pop out the QD like the other guy said those are your only options. The last post has a nice slide check setup.
