    Retro Velocity Help

I've got a mag with retro valve and I'm having a hard time adjusting the velocity.

I stick the allen key in, but it doesn't ever catch. It just rotates on it's own... I'm positive it's the right size.

    Any ideas?

It is either one of two things.

    1) are you using a 1/8" allen key?

    2) the hole in the velosity adjuster is stripped and will have to be replaced. look at the hole. are there sharp angles or is the hole very rounded?

If the hole is rounded then it is striped and if it isn't rounded then you aren't using a 1/8 allen key. Is there any chance you are using a metric allen key? There is one that is really close to the 1/8 but is just a little to small.

Hmm, looks like it might be stripped, but also I think I'm using a metric key.

If it is stripped, what would be the best way to get it out?

just use a pliers if you can or an easy out tool if you can grab it with pliers, just be careful not to damage anything else.
