    XMag? EMag? mag with XValve????

I was playing with a friend's mag with a ReTro valve and an lvl10 nad it is awesome!! I love how it's almost like full auto or burst fire with the RT when you sweet spot it. Now here's the thing, I want one. Is it worth spending more $ for the EMag or even the XMag? How are they all different? (I'd love details here)!I really love the "full auto" feel of the Retro vlave. Do they all have it? I want a VERY accurate and realiable marker that is FAST!!! Can I get away with a Xvalve and LX? Or is it really worth the EMag. Please explain. Thank you very much in advance.

i played with my retro level 10 for about a year it was great. i just recently bought an Emag. they are now coming with the X-valve. that includes a level 10 installed from air guns. if your iching for an electro marker, go for the emag. emags have 2 trigger modes, youll see if you play with one. basically switching between retro mode, were the gun/trigger behaves like an RT or Emode were the trigger is silenoid operated, cannot short stroke in Emode. either way you wouldnt have to worry about cutting a ball with the level 10. i wanted an Xmag but didnt want to wait a year for it, so i got an Emag. ill order one once AirGuns production line is completely up and running to its fullist.

Speed Kills.........but so does everything else only slower

      x-valve rocks

Had an micromag rt first, really fast. Bought an emag blazing fast. Sold emag got x-valve tunamag relly fast, put a .740 on/off pin and its now blazing fast without full auto. If you give yourself enough time with a reactive trigger you won't need an electro. But its personal opinion what do you like manual or electro. I play back and have no problem dumping 9 pods a game.

Re: XMag? EMag? mag with XValve????

Just remember that that "full auto" feel is actually the gun malfunctioning. It can lead to broken sears, worn bolts, snapped trigger rods and broken on/off pins.

Emags/Xmags don't have any trigger "click" as the firing cycle is actuated by magnets. They have the option of the hybrid mode which uses the magnetic short pull but kicks the trigger out like an RT does. The Xmag is equipped with the ACE while the Emag is not.

Functionally, though, an RT Pro with an X-Valve and an Emag/Xmag shoot pretty much the same. (Minus the "click" on the RT)

Thanks for all the help guys? What is an ACE? And can you put a XValve in an Emag? Or is just putting a lvl10 in enough?

ACE is Anti Chop Eye, basically a sensor in the bottom of the breech that only allows the solenoid to actuate (and fire the marker) when there's a paintball sitting fully in the breech ready to fire. Added to the Level 10 it pretty much puts the last nail in the coffin of ball chops.

Putting a Level 10 on an Emag valve would give you exactly the same performance and anti-chop capability as an X-valve. The only difference is the X-valve has a valve made entirely of Aluminium which saves a small amount of weight (Emag is half aluminium, half stainless).

You cannot put the ACE in the Emag b/c of how the breech system on the X-Mag and SFL work. Level 10 will work just fine.

i have a 735 pin in my retro and you really have to work at it to find the sweetspot or put alot of oil in it. But sometimes when i am trying to shot once it will fire 2 but i have not noticed anywere on my bolt or sear after 2 years of play

We had a guy play with his trigger to sweetspot it on our team. In 3 weeks, he snapped a new trigger rod. That's after the first one was replaced. Don't say we didn't warn you.

in a way the e-mag has 3 modes, not 2. i recently (friday) built an e-mag with my old mini valve and body. it has the strait up manual, the same as before. pull the pin in manual, and it goes reactive with a clasic valve. switch to e, and can be walked to the board limitted 16bps(with obvious shootdown). but yes, the sweet spot is a malfuncion.
