    Intelliframe Dumb Questions

I've had my mag for a while now, went a little overboard when I bought it. I purchased a LX and intelliframe before even firing my gun, but based on posts here it seemed like the logical thing to do.

Now that I know a little bit more about paintball, I was wondering how exactly the I-Frame increases rof (or does it?) all I can tell is that the grip has a mounting place for the switch so you can get your warp or revy to spin after each shot.

    Am I missing something?

well, mainly look at how the frame is built. the benchy you have this excessive pull you dont need, the intelliframe stops your pull compared to the benchy by A LOT. its not really 'SHORTER' it just appears to be because compared to other mag frames, it limits your excessive pull.

It also depends on your setup. With an RT valve on my classic mag I've had great results with my Benchmark 2 finger frame. The reactive trigger makes the excessive 'possible' trigger pull irrelevant when set up correctly. With a classic AIR valve the trigger pull is more of a problem.

people need to get away from saying that. it doens't make the pull 'shorter' it just makes it APPEAR shorter. this isn't a flame. but i feel it'll just confuse more people

It'll work just fine. You won't be Speedy McFingers or anything, but the pull will feel lighter. (Not nearly as snappy as the ReTro/X-Valve combo though.)

yeah, it doesn't make the pull any shorter- actually if you use one finger on the bottom, it's longer... but you do have better leverage and two fingers rather than one, so it can seem a little lighter.

                    Over rated

I didn't find that much improvement with the Intelliframe. It didn't help my ROF at all. I have found that a revvy keeps up just fine with the ROF you get out of the Iframe with out the switch installed. It sounds like a good idea at first but unless you are shooting faster than the hopper it's useless (I haven't seen anyone that can do that).

Save your money I think that unless you get a GREAT deal on a used one, forget it.

Yes if you are not going to hook zippy up to your intelliframe with either your warp or your revy its not really worth having it. A simple dye or benchmark frame would suffice to what the intelliframe would do without the hook up.
