question for all you micromag owners out there

    Hey Guys,

I own a MicroRT (I'm guessing it's the Micromag 2000 body) and I was wondering if there are any metals inside main body other than aluminum. I want to do some at-home anodizing, but if there's any steel in there (or any other metal that's not aluminum), I run the risk of ruining my main body. Thanks!
Primary: Black Ule Emag, Rogue Wingless Rail, X-Valve, CCM No-Rise, CP Rail Drop / on/off, Egg, 14" CP two piece, 70ci (peanut) dye throttle.

For sale: Micromag RT, Intelliframe, Egg, 12" Dye Stainless, Kapp Foregrip, 88ci Smart Parts Max-Flo 4500psi.

Yes, the metal retaining ring inside the body has a knurled outer edge which prevents it from coming out. You can still annodize if you take care to coat the steel ring with a laquer coating to protect it from the acid/chemical reaction of the annodize process.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
