    (New to mags) co2 question

I am looking into getting a powerfeed 68 automag and was wondering if i'd be fine running it on an 8 stage xchamber and a horizontal anti-siphon tank. I cant get compressed air where im at unless i drive for 40 mins to get it filled, so please just answer and don't say 'JUST GET NITRO MORON'.

that will work fine.... just be sure that the tank gets setup for the mag.... buying an antisphyon tank off someone wont do anygood..... unless the tank and the gun it was setup for came as a set.... otherwise it could act as a straw and suck liquid into the valve

The tank is a smart parts on/off antisiphon tank, they said all ya gotta do is make sure the on/off knob was pointed up and the antisiphon is positioned correctly

One more question, would it function still in say... 40 degree weather? I live in michigan and want to keep my playing season as long as i can.

if the anti-siphon tube is positioned correctly, it wont matter how cold it is. It will not let liquid in. As for the gun, as long as you are putting about 500 PSI into the valve (classic valve) it will work.

the other option is a remote........we have a guy in our club that plays all year 'round with his mag....he uses a remote and never has liquid problems.

hate remotes, get caught up on trees and im not used to them, and my pod pack doesnt hold a tank, last but not least i already spent 50 bux on an antisiphon on off tank.

now just gotta dig up about 280 more and order my mag... is the tko mag a good deal? im just gonna take off that stupid grip and add a xchamber.

                Yeah,
A remote would work too, back in the day when I had a 12oz tank I used a remote because the tank is so small, and I could hold my gun a bit more like a "pistol" ... its all a matter of personal preference.

the TKO mag is a great deal......when you look at the bare bones PF mag is $240.......only $30 more and you get a barrel($50), foregrip($20), macro-line kit($17), bottomline ($15)

you can only buy the TKO as direct or power feed. if you want vertfeed, you would have to replace the body. the RTP and the no-rise bodies will fit.
