    Tank Leaking - Any Suggestions

I have a 68/4500 crossfire tank that is leaking at the pin valve (I think that is what it is called, not the fill nipple). Should there be any sideways play in the pin? It's not a slow leak either. Sometimes its a mild hiss other times it sounds like a burst disc that has gone out on a co2 tank. But fortunately, when I move the pin around I can get it to stop.

I searched the forum and found suggestions about a repair kit or depressing the pin all the way. When I asked the local PB store, they told me they never heard of a repair kit and that I should just buy a new tank. Is there a definative answer on what to do or not to do to get this fixed? or am I just SOL?

if the pin on the valve is leaking there is really only three things you can do.

    1) leave in on your gun
    2) get a smartparts on/off adapter.
    3) send it to crossfire to be repaired.
