Is this bad?

Ok, yesterday, I was getting ready to play, and my gun was leaking really bad. I found out that last time I cleaned it, all the little pieces that stick up into the bottom of the valve (what's that called) was missing. I put it back in the way it was supposed to be. I don't remember why, but I also backed out the screw thing on the back of the valve. I took it completely out. Then I put it back in. After that, the gun worked perfectly, but there was a low leak through the back of the valve. I think it was coming from where the allen wrench goes in. I put a piece of tape over it, and it stopped it. My question is, is this normal? How do I fix it? I don't remember it doing that before. Thanks.

We don't have a chrono. We just compare gun speed. We don't shoot much over, if at all 300fps. How do I turn the velocity down on a mag? I've never messed with it.

I was wondering the same thing. When I started paintballing I played at a friends for months w/ a VM68 that shot 330-340. Of course we didn't know that til I took it to a field and chrono'ed it. That's the only gun I've had that would shoot straight going that fast

lower the velocity. if its leaking out back then your pressure is too high. lower the velo some.

if that doesnt do it, get a new reg piston oring for like $1.00 from the AGD store

I don't have the video. I bought i used. And the way we judge velocities, is by the people who have chronoed before. 3 of us have been to a tournament where velocities where set at 285 and left there. Everyone else just sets theirs according to those 3 guns.

Whatever. We're not playing with them fast enough to hurt or anything. They've never drawn blood, even with bunker moves. Just someone help out. How do I stop the leak?

To stop the leak from the back of the valve, simply put the right size allen rench, into the hole, tunn it to the left, maybe 90 degress, if that dosent stop it, turn it 180 degress.

Simply,
#1- your reg pressure is to high.Easiest way to tell is to chrono and see if your shooting hot.

#2- the pressure relief is bad and leaking prematurly.It is not a repairable part and the reg piston assemlby must be replaced.
