Can't seem to get velocity above 250fps

    Here's my setup:

    68 Automag PF HR
    4 star minimag valve
    Omega body rail
    gas-thru grip
    I-frame
LX (1.0 carrier, 2 shims, short spring: 1.5 carrier leaks)
    Finger rear velocity adjuster
68\4500 AA Apoc 2k (output set to 750psi)
    10" Dye Boomstick
32 Degrees competetion paint (seems to small for the barrel)

My only conclusion can be that it is th paint to barrel match. The paint is too small for the barrel, but will this actually hinder my ability to get it up near 280fps.
I am going to try different a different paint to barrel match and see what happens, but wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions. Also, the LX has only had roughly a 400-500 rounds put throughit!

Any suggestions/info would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Maybe.....

First try the middle spring in the LX. If you have your regulator nut screwed in all the way and still don't get good velocity with the LX you might need a new reg piston.

You only need to replace the reg piston if you're valve vent out the back before getting to 300 fps.

If you bottom out the velocity nut before hitting 300, then you may have a worn out spring pack and need to replace that.

Also get rid of teh finger velocity adjuster. They can cause problems.
