I am awaiting my X-Mag and my Halo B just arrived today. I have noticed that the neck is rather large and will not even fit into my current marker (Spyder AMG w/check-it feed adapter). I had to sand my Revy to fit that adapter too. But I do not want to sand the Halo down until I know how it fits with the centerfeed X-mag. So anyone using this combo please let me know how the fit is, thanks!

I will know about lunch time Monday! The UPS God, err man, will be dropping mine off then. First thing I'm doing is popping the HALO B on there and painting the tree in my back yard!
I'll let you know as soon as I find out!

Yes, please reply asap! I would like to use it on my current set-up now but I don't want to sand the neck too much for use on the X-mag :)
BTW what kind did you get? How much much and from whom? How long was the wait? Inquiring minds want to know.Comment

There's an Xmag for sale at Paintballistix (PBX) in NJ. They're closed tomorrow but will be open on Monday at 4pm.
It's purple. Just a warning. But it's still an Xmag.Comment

For this much money I don't think I should have to suffer with purple :) I was thinking of basic black or black/grey fade.Comment

I found one for sale from a shop that had 4 on their shelf. I think it was Fox Paintball in Aurora, IL. Last I heard they still had a red one?
I got a pewter one with both modules and a boomstick! Cost me about $1500. The wait will have been Thursday (ordered it) till Monday! Oh, about 4 days!
I'll post my Halo/X-Mag results here tomorrow.

Hey Recon,
I had to sand the CRAP outta my Halo to get it to fit into my Vert breech. Spent about 1/2 hour sanding a little, testing the fit, sanding some more... you get the idea.
Good Luck ~ DaveDavid M. Jones

Do you have an estimate of how much diameter you sanded away?Comment
-
I really don't know. I don't have anything to measure that accurately. But I can tell you it was quite a bit.
I sanded with 60 for about a minute, rotationg back and forth.
Then I took 100 to make it a bit smoother.
Then I took 400 to make it very smooth.
Sanded a bit, then test fit, snaded some more...
