Pump mag

I was wondeirng if you could mill a standard mag body to taek the pump rod? If i could do this how far back would i mill to

I used pictures from a post from a "haveblue" user name post
as a refference. Also took some paint and put it on the rail around the pump slot and pressed it against the body tube to make sure things line up. You have to ramp it towards the barrel end of the slot so the pump rod won't bind against the tube as it ramps up to contact the bolt at the other end.

that doesnt answer if i could use a orginal mag body and also how far do i mill back and i know it will be a 1/8 inch enmill for sure. But how far back do i mill on the body. not the rail. Or do i just get the rail and measure from there back and mill that far on the body?

Actually, he did answer your question. Read again...

He put paint on the rail around the pump slot then pressed his body to the rail, leaving paint on the body around which he needed to mill for the pump rod.

That answers the 'can I use a standard body' question with an obvious 'yes'. That also answers how far to mill. As fas as the paint on the body goes...

thanks man i got it. i think i am just going to order teh pump kit and rail from agd and i might have brad from paintball maxx make me the pump rod and mill my body out
