    Sighting down my gun(BlackVCG)

I am having difficulty sighting down my gun accurately and usually have to shoot about the test shots just to get my 4th shot to land on the target. About 4 months ago i replaced both the hopper left mini and auto bodies to hopper right. The powerfeed plug just kind of gets in the way. My current setup is

    Mag #1(main mag)

Black teflon Automag hopper right powerfeed body
    AGD Z-grip
    Retro valve
    LAPCO BigShot and DYE Boomstick
    KAPP foregrip extender(modified fo z-grip)
    KAPP foregrip
LAPCO 2 hole ASA with DYE micro Guage
    AA 68cu 4500psi Raptor tank
    Quick disconnect
    Stainless steel hoses
    KAPP 90* swivel elbows
    AND black fill nipple cover

and all the cool accesories like my 12v with new ultra super duper special modified weed wacker impeller, ACI smoke elbow, and my intellifeed setup in my z-grip

    Mag #2(backup mag)

Polished Minimag hopper right powerfeed body
    Benchmark Silver rail
Stock triggerframe with rubber wrap around grips
    PMI foregrip with ASA adapter
Macroline with 4 swiveling 90* elbows
    Flatline 47cu 300psi tank
    ANS silver fill nipple cover

I have practiced but it just doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe I will get use to it eventually. Any ways I can practice?

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

You are not alone my friend....I hate it...Try teaching yourself to look down the right side of thr gun. It also brings the gun in tighter and makes you a smaller target

4 months (assuming playing regularly) is quite a while to not catch onto something. i have nevr sighted down the top of any paintball gun for the last 5 years and i have absolutly no problem snap shooting 1-2 balls onto a reasonable target.

-my guess is you just need more time
-or you have an unrealistic view of how accurate you should be with your paintball gun.

      good luck.

Having a Warp and a Warp Body MiniMag, I generally have the gun tilted 45 degrees in towards me and sight right down the top of the PF plug. This isn't possible for you since you're not using a Warp and have a hopper right mainbody. The best thing would have been to keep your HL mainbody if you never plan to get a Warp. That keeps the hopper in tighter when you're coming out on your strong side and allows you to sight down the side of the gun.

To work with what you have, I'd suggest using the tip of the barrel as your point of reference to sight from. Longer barrels will help make this easier to do. Through practice, you'll learn where to position the barrel relative to the target to hit it. Now you might say the way you hold the gun doesn't allow you to see the barrel at all, well... try bringing your head back away from the gun and making it so that you can sight down the barrel and see how things go.
