if the hydro date on my 68/3000 steel crossfire tank is 6/00 then how long do i have till i need a hydro test

5/03.... you have until the last day of the month prior to the month listed on the tank.....

and where can i get the tank hydro tested? do most tanks usually pass the test and if they dont then why dont they pass

virus are you sure about that i thought the steel tanks are every 5 years and the old fibers where 3 now the new fibers are 5 years as well. so he would have till 2005.

Steel tanks should be five years. My scuba tank is five years, as well as the fire extinguishers at my work. You can contact the company and they'll be able to tell you when and how to go about re-accomplishing the hydrostatic inspection. You may be able to get it done at a local dive shop or fire extinguisher maintenance shop.
