    Gutting out the stock reg!?

I heard somewhere that its possible to gut out the stock reg and run the pressure into the vavle using a aftermarket reg. It would be a little more consistant and maybe alittle higher flowing. Have any of you tried this?

Possible but not reccomended. It doesn't improve upon much performance. The stock reg already does a great job.

      i would not do it.
      1) ruins your AGD warranty. i don't think they will fix your gutted reg.
      2) consistancy is already great with the stock reg
      3) other companies have copied the automag reg for their own use (air america?)
      4) you will not notice any difference in flow. and how would you tell? you probably cannot shoot fast enough to notice noticeable shootdown.

lol you dont need to do much to do it. ive done it before with me and my friend. we created a cap for the end of the reg and it worked great and made the gun like 1inch or a little more shorter. but there was nothing special to if just hella cool and need.
