How does an Automag freak set work

I just kinda cant picture it, because the ball has to drop into the barrel to be fired. Is their like a hole in each insert or something. Or is their a pic i can see of the threads that anyone has. Thanks, i just cant picture it.

It drops into a section of the barrel and then the insert starts. The insert sits right at the edge of the breech.

Cool, I was wondering myself.I read that mags with the lvl 10 bolt wont take a barrel smaller than a .687 bore because of the bolt, will a smaller bore size than .687 with a Freak work since the bore size dosent go all the way to the back of the barrel.

only painful part is that you have to unscrew the two part to change the insert. it is only accessible from the front, unlike the cocker back.
