Another ? on how does the Mag Freak barrel work

I have read where the lvl 10 bolt will only work with barrels no less than .687 bore. My question is since the Freak insert dosent go all the way to the back of the barrel will I be able to use less than .687 bore size with the Freak.Thanks

I have a level 10 and have found no problem using any of the freak inserts.

yes, because the insert does not go past where the bolt travels, you should not have a problem with using the smaller inserts
