    Ule Question?

I'd like to know what the you guys think about the advantages of the Ule body. I am considering buying one. The weight reduction advantage is a no brainer and the asthtic appeal is obvious but....do you guys feel there is any advantage to the Cocker threaded barrel and ball detent set up over the old style bayonet mount and nubbin system that worked so well. I like the vert feed of the new body design, but I dont understand why they abandoned the bayonet mount and nubbin. Whats the advantage of the new system beyond the availability of cocker barrels. Is there a perfromance advantage?

    Nope. Just more standardization.

Cocker barrels are plentiful. And Twist Lock barrels usually cost more.

Dayspring.....Thanks! That is what I thought but I couldn't help thinking that perhaps I was missing some sort of performance advantage. I've had Cockers and quite frankly I like the Bayonet Mag set up better!

      Oh Well!
