    E-mag Warp Feed Problem

About a month ago ( during masters ) my e-mag turned into a blender.
Tom and the tech's where great trying to help me out, gave me all the warp upgrades new nubbin's and exchanged almost everything in my warp setup except the electronics themselves. (Thank you profusely ). It was still chopping paint when I left I finally wrote it off to Zap paint and horribly weather. When I got back to St Louis I took it out again perfect weather, brand new RP and Nelson Anarchy and it was still blending.
Moral of the story is that I started really trouble shooting it I realized that the warp was skipping trigger pulls. I have the intelilink cable into the grip and checked the connection it is tight I unscrewed the phono end of the cable and the wires are still soldered tight. The connection seems good yet when I fan the trigger ( dwell on warp is set on high ) it will stop spinning for about .5 to a full second and then start spinning again! This has to be the reason I am chopping. Any ideas or help would be appreciated I do not want to listen to the Angel dorks at the field again!

    Thanks

Hey, my Emag and warp is at AGD right now for that EXACT problem. I was so frustrated at mine I tried to sell it before Miscue and BlackVCG told me to check for warp spins. Turns out mine was missing too and causing crazy chopping. I would send the whole setup to AGD like I did and have them go through the gun. It SHOULD not do it.

** Sorry Russ, dident see you linked to my thread! hahah, your just too darn quick!!

Hummm, Rob just notified me that there seems to be several of these problems. Udt, I'll look into your gun and get back to you here. Please post back your name or gun serial# so I can find it this weekend.

Hotty, take off your PCB cover on the back of the warp and pull off the lowest jumper in the 3 jumper block on the right. Then try it and see if it skips.

          Still doing it

With the third jumper off it is still skipping but now it's worse. When I was testing before I was doing it without air on the gun (girlfriend locks me out of the room when I shoot 100 times with air on the gun ). The warp wasn't sending the .5 volt with every trigger pull , well I aired it up this morning hooked the intellink cable to my volt-meter and know it's a split problem when I pull the trigger sometimes the gun will fire and the warp will not spin sometimes the warp will spin ( or send the V signal to the meter) and the gun will not fire with the hall sensor. I have to switch it to manual and pull the trigger far enough to engage the rod to fire, but when the trigger passes into the magnet sensor zone it will send the voltage signal to the intelli-link cable. So the warp will start to spin a 1/4 before it hits the rod and actually cycles the valve. I tried backing out the trigger magnet and still same problem. Could this be anything but a fried board?

          Help??

Also when I put the Vibration jumper back on it is not working either. If I turn the pot all the way to the max it will spin turn it back untill it stops spinning and then tap it hard with an allen wrench and it will NOT spin.

When you took the board on the warp out, there is two little springs that may have fell out, check to see if there is any springs by the edge of the board.

These are what makes the vibration sensor work.

                  Udt,

I looked for your gun tonight but it already shipped back a couple days ago. I read the RA and it said they took out some of the dwell jumpers. Did you have all the jumpers in? It says we fired 400 rounds through it here with no breaks at all. If you have all the jumpers connected the warp will not spin long enough to feed a ball. Please let me know whats up when you get it back.

                    Hotty,

How many dwell jumpers do you have plugged in?

GREAT!! Thanks Tom! You are the best! Rob put the gun together for me, so I really do not know about the dwell jumpers. I honestly don't know what they are but I surely will after this happened. Im glad there were no problems with the board or the warp board. Thanks so much again, Im surprised of the turn around time! I will keep an eye out for the UPS truck and let you know how it works for me. I have about 600 rounds of Polar Ice here so I will run that through it. Thanks again!
