    Leaks and Burps

    Okay , PLEASE HELP ME!

My 68 classic has some rough spots.

FIRST: I have microline on it that came with it from the last owner. It leaks from where the hose sticks into the elbow, I checked. The hose feels pretty stiff. Is it supposed to be like that? Or is it old and unable to make a good seal?

    Second: And More serious!
I use CO2. And I have a gas through foregrip. If I start to shoot rapidly, the pressure drops with everyshot. But if I stop and shoot slowly , it works great. Any suggestions?

get nitro! that's the downside to co2 [there's more actually]. HPA/Nitro is MUCH more consistant than co2 will EVER be.

start off by replacing your hose and fittings. go out and buy a macroline kit. your problem might be flow related.

and teflon tape doesn't hurt. I dunno if you can use them on macro/micro lines but it works perfectly on my sbh

          Ok, a couple things:

First off, CO2 isn't very reliable for high rates of fire. It just can't expand fast enough, and can starve your gun. Thats one reason.

Second, microline is already pushing flow rates. First you have an expansion problem, and secondly you are limiting the gas flow that does exist by using microline.

My suggestion? Get an Xchamber to replace that gas-thru foregrip until you get some HPA. Also, replace those Micro lines with Macrolines or SS braided hose. Either one will give you better flow rates than microline.

You may also want to invest in an anti-siphon tank to keep liquid CO2 out of your gun.

          Hope that helps.

The shootdown might be cause by the bolt, the standard mag valve has shootdown past 7 bps. The birping is from your co2 freezing the reg seat.
