I despise drops. I like having the tank coming off my frame, i wouldn't buy a drop unless i bought an 88 or 114, i run my 68 and 45/45 straight up.

Ahahahaha drops suck... I have a 30 dollar on/off asa that mounts directly to the grip

with a 45/45 tank my face is about an inch from my beavertail... which is PLENTY close for me.

I play tight enough... I don't have my gun so close to my face that my hand is crooked in a weird position... I play tight with my hand in a comfortbale position

Maybe you should go on the Maury show and have people chase you around with nitro tanks and then you wont be scared of them anymore

remember that lady with the cats or the ballons or what ever...those are funny.

i think you should turn your asa around and see how that feels, and try different combinations of drops and positions, try a remote also.
