    Can you run a Mag at 850 - 900 psi?

    I am wandering if you can run a Automag Classic at 850 - 900 psi?

    yes because either way the Reg will bring it down to about 375. and the Reg is rated at 3000 psi

      That's actually the best pressure for a Mag. It helps the valve to recharge faster and as was stated earlier, the reg will bring it down to ~375psi.

        my apocalypse broke once and it put maybe 1500-1600 psi through my macroline which ofcourse bursted and causing a very loud bang... but what's odd is that my emag was perfectly fine... :) I cranked that thing down, put new macroline on it. I told this big guy to go to take it to the chrono and turn this air on, if it works he can play 3 games with it... Well it worked and it was set at 1000psi and he had a blast playing those 3 games... he was a newbie too, 1st 2nd time out and he was like "thanks man, that made me want to play paintball even more... people like you who are kind to us newbies"
