New plastic nubbins are busting balls

Like the title says in my new CP barrels they are eating balls. My metal ones work ok I was just wondering why my old plastics worked awesome, but the new ones don't.I know this is a small prob ,but I like to have my barrels and equipment ready to go at the tourneys.

    PS
they are installed triangle side down.

You might have to file it or use a shim, so it doesn't protrude into the barrel too much.

I had to "tune" mine to work.

I shaved a little off the backside bump that protrudes the frontbump into the barrel. When the barrel was inserted it put too much pressure on the whole assembly and it wouldn't allow the front part to totally clear when depressed.

Sometimes you just need to dryfire a few hundred shots to break them in and remove any sharp edges. Do that and if that doesn't work, file off a bit of the hump on the back side of the nubbin, like Cledford said.
