    Uber-Techies ... help and info needed ....

    Okay all you uber-tech's ... quick question ...

    How hard is it to pull a reg off of a bottle (fiber-wrapped) and then putting another on in its place ...


    Any tips, tricks, info etc ... greatly appreciated.

    not very. it's threaded on, usually some lock-tite used. get a vice with some rubber pads and clamp it in, then get a wrench and take all of the guages/burst disks off and twist teh sucker right off.
    if at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

        instead of using a vice which puts pressure on only 2 points on your tank and risking damage, get a strap wrench like you use on the oil filter in your car, just bigger, and use that to hold on to the tank. you can get a strap wrench almost anywhere, homedepot, autozone, even walmart has em.
