    Air hogging prob

Hey guys i just got my mag like a week ago and am new to this forum. Anyways i have a 68/4500 nitro duck tank and ill fill it to like 2000 psi just to shoot it or whatever. within like 300-400 shots it drops 1000 psi. Is this normal to have such a big drop is pressure like that? The tank just seems to drain air fast and not like normal. i have it set to like 800 psi. Anyways thanks for the help peace out.

300-400 shots per 1000psi is excellent, that's 1050-1400 off a full tank, good for any gun...what were you expectng?

    Oh, and welcome to AO

wait wait wait lol i just shot the remaining air outta it and it was more like 150-200 shots. that was shooting from 1000 psi to empty. and now when i pull the trigger it makes a whiiissh sound from the valve area. it only happens when i pull it tho.

...if you gun operates @ 800psi, the tank is esentially "empty" when it gets down to 800psi. Dude, everything is OK, again what do you expect? Your gun needs air to shoot, you know. Some folks seem to feel that a 68/4500 should give 'em like 10,000 shots!

that is actually REALLY good efficiency. I get about 600 Shots from my 68/3000 if it is filled. so 3-400 Shots from a 2000PSI fill is VERY good.
