I have two questions. The first being, how does the trigger frame (not trigger), feel to the hand? The reason I ask is that the trigger frame on the 2k2 Timmy hurts my hand, and the curve in it is similar to an EMag by the looks of it. Secondly, how smooth does the EMag cycle compared to another electro? (angel, impulse, timmy, bushmaster etc.)? Thank You.
Feel of EMag?

I am sure you are gonna get tons of responses on this one, and I am amazed I am the first to get to. The Emag feels great to me. Mine came with the slimmer ULE frame and it is really nice. I have what are, according to the gloves I get, large hands if that helps you tell the size of the frame. It cycles really smoothly as well. I have shot pretty much all of the guns you mentioned and I would say they are all comparable. I think alot of the "smoothness" of a gun comes down to how the trigger feels, and the Emag trigger is really adjustable so you will get the feel you want. As far as the gun staying on target during rapid firing, it is quite nice. Nicer than previous mags I have owned and shot and on par if not better than any electro I have shot. Well thats all I can come up with right now, hope it helped and I am sure some other people will pick up with stuff I didnt address. good luck -
Well, with my E-Mag I too got the ULE frame that leaves off the hump on the back. IT's got a nice feel, comparable to most 45 frames. It's a bit 'thick' in the width to accomidate the solenoid required to fire the marker, but it's got a good feel. I also don't have 'large' hands, but even with palm padded bike gloved on, the frame feels good.
The E-Mag also shoots very smoothly. With the LX bolt, there is little to no kick. The only movement I've noticed during fireing is the barrel raising slightly during rapid fire. This is nothing kore than the opposite reation to the paint coming out the of the barrel, and it is comparable to any other high ROF marker.
Over all, I would bet you would like the feel of an E-Mag. See if you can get your hands on one to get a fell for it.

My emag has the hump and I like the feel of it. It is pretty smooth too. I suggest you try one out though, if it is possible.Good sellers: Edboe, Ringmasta187, and Vector9

So all newer EMags now come with a ULE trigger frame, Xvalve, and LX? My other options are a Viking and a GZ. Has anybody shot 2 or 3 of those guns and could compare them for me? I've held and shot a GZ myself and I liked it, but have never been able to shoot an EMag or Viking, because my local stores don't carry them and I've never seen one at the field. Thank you.Tension is building inside, steadily

To the best of my knowledge(I haven't been around here much recently) all NEW E-mags Have ULE Frame, and LX, not sure about the aluminum frame, but I beleve so.
As far as Emags, Gz's, and Vikings.
I've had 2 E-mags(one micro and one warp left). I liked them both, I got rid of the micro when I was going threw a marker faze. I got rid of the warp left when I got on a Extreme preorder list over a year ago(then I got off list when the release date kept getting pushed back
)
I've had 2 original style Timmy's(work the same as the GZ's) I got rid of them because I didn't like the feel of them. Seemed long, hopper to far forward, and seemed "cheap" to me.
I currently have an Immortal milled Viking. I've always liked AKA products, and I plan on keeping this marker for a long time. I like the fact that I can turn it on and play, nothing to worry about. Biggest problem is making sure I have a good battery in it.
My E-mag(which had an original superbolt) and my Viking feel alot alike when they fire, very little "kick", ball goes down range, me happy. I tend to get better consitancy with my Viking, but I've heard of many people having no problems with E-mags either.
Hope it helped a little2003 SuperBowl Champions!, THE New England Patriots!

To the guy above, how much different in weight are the Viking and EMag? Your last post was very helpful. Thanks.Tension is building inside, steadily

Unfortunately I've never held an Unmilled Viking, or an Excal with out Air and hopper, and the setups I used on each marker were completely different. But if I remember correctly a Viking weights a little less than an E-mag with the sight rail.
Sorry I couldn't be more help, but wieght of my marker is one of the last things I worry about.2003 SuperBowl Champions!, THE New England Patriots!

well, a Viking ways a lot less than a stock EMag... XMag's a dif story though.
I have "large" size hands based on my gloves and have found emag grips- both norm and ULE - to be pretty big. not wide, but really long- like there's room to stack up 5 or 6 fingers on the front. does that make any sense? i don't mind it, but when switching back from my intelliframe mag, the xmag grip feels huge.sigs are overrated.Comment
