    Compressed Air tank questions...

Hey guys, my question is the date on my crossfire tank is 11/99 so I need it to be tested. Where do I send my tank to be tested though, and how much will it cost me? Can I have the guy at my local paintball shop do it, he makes his own compressed air tanks so I would think he has the means to test mine? Thanks guys

ya, ask the guy at your store if he is qualified to hydrotest tanks. if he makes compressed air tanks, he can probably test them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have 1 more year before you need to have it hydro tested?

      11/99 + 3yrs = 11/02

Makes his own HPA tanks? Please elaborate.

Well I figured the tank was used all of 99, then 2000, and now 2001. As far as the guy at Check Yourself (the local paintball shop here in Santa Barbara) I know he makes his own tanks for the team, and sells them to guys around here, but that's all I know about them. Thanks for the reply guys, I'll probably just ask him next time I'm in there. Thanks again

The date, 11/99, is the "birthdate", if you will. Check out this site for all you could ever want to know about hydroing tanks.

Thanks Russ, that was exactly what I needed, I don't have to have my tank tested till the last day of May of 2002. Thanks again
