co2.for my automag?? expansion chamber or palmer stabilizer?

I have a automag classic, and my options about co2 and nitro is not much of an option at all, I have my own fill-station.(co2) All the people that play with our group uses co2 so I do too. Well I do understand that mags does not do well with co2, but I have been kinda in a situation with it. My question is would I be better off with a expansion chamber or stabilizer? I have a tank with the anti siphon tube installed, and believe that it will help, but just want some advise on the ex. chamber or stabilizer? What would you do???

ok well here's my story. I have a minimag thats two weeks old, last sunday was her first game. I have an aci x-chamber and an anti-siphon tank installed. the temperature outside was about 59 degrees and I had a hell of a time with the co2. from what I understand... when the temperature outside is near or below 50 when the gas enters the valve it can turn back into liquid, which means the x-chamber/anti-siphon/remote arent going to eliminate the problem, only make sure that by the time it does get to the valve, it's not already liquid. once the gas hits the valve they cant stop if from changing again due to the temp in the valve. now I am by no means an expert and I may be wrong but from reading the manual and in this forum this is what I came up with.

now I've also read many people say that they use CO2 with their mags flawlessly but well, sunday night after the game I ordered an HPA tank and I just got it in the mail today. :)

Go with the Stabilizer all the way it works flawlessly, until the temp goes below ~32F because then either won't do you anything if you fire more than 1bps!
But, I have had mine for a long time and it has never let me down, the ONLY reason I've recently switched to nitro is because it is quieter. (That honestly is the only reason!!!)

Thanks could you suggest what to set the stabilizer at what psi?

I am going to install a gauge where I can make sure that the stabilizer is set for the right performance.

The best way to set it up doesn't require a guage!!

Turn the velocity on your AIR valve ALL the way up. Now over a chrono adjust the STABILIZER so that the marker fires about 30-50fps higher than what you really want. Now turn down your AIR valve so that it is at the desired velocity.

Your done, go have some fun!

(Go about 30 higher if it is cold where you live so you need the best protection without upping your chances of starvation by much. Go 50 if you want to make sure your gun will NEVER starve for air.)
