help me with my Emag trigger please

ok i know how the whole emag trigger works,

i want it as soft and small as it goes.. But,

i go to adjust the trigger magnet... it will either not fire bc its to far, or to close. When i get it in the middle it just goes into a F/A.

now i have my trigger pretty light but when i look at some of the emags ive seen its nothing, i have 1 mini techdeck wheel (lol) and 1 magnet in there.

please tell me how to do it, if i got the thing from going FA then ide be fine. Just how do i adjust the hall to have it not do that?

with some work, my emag has the pull of an angel. Ultra light, minimal return pull. I have about 1/8" triggerpull to fire. It took me about 30 minutes to set that up to be able to fire, but without running away.

for the return pull(magnets int he body rail) removed all the magnets, and took just a chip of one magnet and put that in place...very light return. Hard to duplicate, but well worth it.

the trigger need so t have (I believe) .3 mm of travel measured in the center of the top figner groove to work. it sounds liek you might have your set to too short of a pull. make it a tiny bit longer and then adjust the hall magnet again. should be fine.

JAM is correct. Set the pull length a bit longer. Right now it's too short. There's a certain point in the pull of the trigger where the HES gets an electrical bounce effect and goes FA.

yeah, thats what i did.. make it a little longer.

But say i pull the trigger in really slow and right at the point that it fires... if i hold it there it will go into a fullauto (Without moving it at all bc i used electronic calippers.. sp?). Right now it is pretty darn big, maybe a smidge bigger then a Booyahh/mako trigger? im gunna go try to make it smaller now. Any input would help me out alot

          thanx guys

I think I may have found a use for all those techdeck dudes laying around the house.

Your magnet in the center of the trigger is too close to the HES sensor in the frame. Thus meaning your fire point is too far back. "Tighten" in the magnet a hair (Turn it clockwise looking at it from the front) and that should keep it from going FA on you.

Timmy63 on the forums makes the TL63 blade trigger.

The pull length is still limited to the hysterisis of the HES unit, so you can't get it any shorter than the stock trigger.

The advantage for most people is that the blade trigger feels better so they can get a higher ROF.
