    ANS Phase II venturi bolt

I've seen a number of posts trashing these things and I'm just curious about what's so bad about them. I have a level 10 now, but I used to use an ANS bolt and I never had a problem with it (I kinda liked the little foamy in the middle). I don't think I ever broke a ball with it. Now I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it didn't really improve performance, but could it actually lower performance or damage anything? Has anyone had any experience with this?

    Thanks.

They're not so much 'bad' as they are a waste of money over the stock bolt.

Miscue, I love the tag line, that's great! Please tell me you don't know anyone (possibly dead now) who tried that. An old friend used to know a guy ("used to" being the operative part of the phrase)who tried to cut open a propane tank with a cutting torch to make4 planters or something... didn't work out so good.
Dayspring, I understand the "crap" thing, I'm not arguing. I'm just wondering what's so bad about them? I couldn't see much difference between that and my old foamiless bolt (except for the face of course) and it always worked fine for me.

Just like Miscue said...It's not that they're bad, it's just that they aren't any better than the stock bolt. Why would you waste your money on something that isn't going to improve your marker when you've already got a part that works very well?

No, it's just a joke. Basically... sarcastic commentary on how people seem to worry about how their gun looks... sometimes going too far... rather than how it works. Function over form.
