    Co2 or Nitrogen

I was wondering if you can run the gun on anti siphon co2? If so should i still get a expansion chamber? What is the difference between a expansion chamber and a gas through grip?thanks

Yes, you can run a Mag on anti-siphon CO2. And an X-Chamber would be a good buy as well.

Difference between X-chamber and gas through-

X-Chamber has different chambers and lots of surface area to promote thermal conversion of liquid CO2 to gaseous CO2.

Gas through is basically nothing more than a tube like macroline or Braided SS. No extra surface area.

However, if Nitro is an optoin, go for it. You'll save yourself some headaches and the gun will function more reliably.

definetely of you have an option for nitro use nitro. it says in the automag manual that performance around or under 50 degrees (farenheit) will be poor, and they dont lie! I live in northeast ohio so about 50% of the time we play paintball its around there. I had my minimag for one game using co2 and i had problems and i bought an hpa tank the next day. (I had an anti-siphon tank and an x-chamber on it) i have read many people though say they use co2 with no problem, so it depends on your setup and climate i guess. there is a reason, however, that everybody raves about using nitro with a mag.. and now know why.

yeh, if your field fills N2 and you can afford it, by all means, GET IT!

N2 will make your mag sing in a way it cant on CO2
