    Will this drop work?

Well I finally got a tank for my new E-Mag... Here is the tank I got off of eBay: A Smart Parts Max-Flo 68/4500

    ($215, did I get a good deal?)

Now.. for a drop I just want something basic. I found this 3 inch drop by Center Flag:

Looking at the pics... I am wondering will this drop be too short? It looks like the tank will be right on the back of the grip...

Will I need a longer drop? They have that same drop but in 5 inch, would that be better?

Also.. what size hose will I need? I wanna go from the tank, in a loop that can go a little past the battery on the e-mag to the valve on my E-mag. also there will be a quick disconnect on it. I think maybe I need to pull out some yarn or something and measure it that way before I order it, lol

    Thank you for any help.

Well, the tank needs to be Hydrotested real soon (by the end of this month) The date on the tank appears to be 05-1A11-00. That means May, 2000 (05-xxx-00) Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't know.. still being shipped, lol

Hopefully getting it hydro'ed won't be too much of an issue. Do scuba shops or somethin' do this?

Anyways... think that drop I'm ordering will work with it? I think it will.. I can always return it I guess. It's just my paintball shop has fruity carved drops.. I am all about function, not fashion, lol

Where I'm at, the local SCUBA shop (that also fills my tanks) does hydro testing. It's only around $20.

Sorry I can't help with the drop, I have no experience with Max-Flo tanks...

That drop should work fine with the MaxFlow

You'll need ABOUT a 14" hose..I would measure it first or just go with Macroline

Yes, that drop should work. If I were you, I would use macroline instead of micro or stainless steel. I have had nothing but good luck with macroline.
