classic valve?

I'm new to the mag world. I was wondering if the valve in the automag classic is different from the stock valve in a minimag or non-classic automag? Also what's the deal with the stars? And why does the classic only have one. I thought some mags came with up to 4.

the classic valve refers to the stock valve that comes on all mags. the valves on minimags are also called classic valves, not just the valves on automag classics.

each time you send your gun to AGD for repair on the valve, it will cost you a star. older valves only had one star but now they come with 4 stars. your mag must be from back when they were only selling them with one star on them.

Uhh i bought my mag last month brand new from AGD and it's a Classic and only has 1 star on the valve.....

my valve didnt come with any stars at all, just take care of your things and you shouldnt have to worry about getting it worked on, often or at all.
