    first shot - nada

    I have 2 level 10 systems

1 is in an RT-Pro with ULE body, the other is in a MicroEmag

For some reason my first shot if I let the gun sit about 30 seconds will reset the bolt. There does not even have to be a ball in the chamber?!?!?! I feel like I am shooting a stock Impulse :) !!!!

Any ideas? I have plenty of oil, 2 spacers in each gun, and I think the #2 carrier in both guns. The next up carrier leaks, the next down gets bolt stick. and the shims just control how far forward in the stroke the bolt will reset right?

    Please help

    Thanks

with the LX kit, you need to turn your velo in about 3/4 turn

      velocity

Velocity is fine, a little high even, and this is only the FIRST shot after it sits for 30 seconds

          bolt

I can watch the bolt move forward and reset itseld on the fist shot, then it fires off a string fine, and then sits, and fails first shot again.

Either go UP one size on the carrier, or use a shorter spring.

If the gun won't leak when you go up 1 size on the carrier, all should be OK. But you say they leak...

...Then try the next shorter spring. If you can't get your target velocity (too high) with the spring you're using, you gotta go shorter.

Your gun is right on the edge of proper function.

Take out as many shims as you can before it starts to leak...

I had the same problem, and a temporary fix was to just push the bolt back with your squeggie. After the day though, I just fiddled with the shims and now my problem is solved.

                  shims

IF I start taking out shims, it does not leak, it just reset as diffeent points int he firign routine.

Why would it only be on the first shot if the gun sits for a few seconds? Is it possible it just needs to be broken in?

StygShore are these two brand new kits? (is the cair oring brand new) if so..

play 3-4 times usen the small spring untill broken in, then move to the cut spring. I have the Same prob as you, or if u want to just start out with the cut spring put the velocity up high.....

(im sorta haven the same problems with my emag)

                      kits

they are used kits, but I just changes the shims and configuration in both of them. 1 was set so light the paint made it reset, so I went to a lighter carrier and 2 shims

The other was medium spring, but it was on the tightest carrier, and no shims, and woudl not even cycle
