polishing my mag

Hey whats up? i'm planning on polishing my mag, and i want to use sandpaper and probably some kind of polish. any info on what grit you guys have used , probably a very fine grit, and any good polishes u know of? thanks

First of all i would recommend trying to search first...I typed in polishing in the search and came up with all kinds off info...attached is one of the better threads with polishing info.
The body of all classic and minimags is stainless steel.
